Musicians’ Enterprise Foundation is built through collaboration. Artists, supporters, and industry professionals each play a role in strengthening the infrastructure behind independent music. Whether through time, leadership, or resources, there are multiple ways to contribute.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers support the day-to-day execution of events and programs while helping create strong experiences for both artists and audiences. Roles are flexible and can match availability, skills, and interests.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Concert ushers, guest services, and event coordination

• Event support including setup, breakdown, and logistics

• In-person fundraising and silent auction support

• Street team promotion and community outreach

• Artist hospitality and backstage support

• Content capture, photography, and media assistance

• Administrative and organizational support

• Student internships in areas such as event production, marketing, nonprofit operations, and artist development

Internships provide students with hands-on experience in live event production, nonprofit operations, and the music industry while supporting the Foundation’s programs.

JOIN THE BOARD

The Foundation is building a small, active leadership group to guide strategy, governance, and long-term growth. Board members provide oversight, professional expertise, and connections that help expand the organization’s reach and impact.

Board participation is flexible and does not require being local or involved in daily operations. Members contribute through periodic meetings, strategic input, and support for fundraising and partnerships.

Current areas of need include:

• Secretary

The Foundation seeks individuals with experience in music, nonprofit leadership, business, finance, or community development who are interested in supporting sustainable artist careers.

DONATE

Donations support the programs and resources that allow independent artists to operate professionally and access meaningful opportunities. Contributions may be financial or in-kind and are directed toward program delivery, events, and infrastructure support.

Ways to contribute include:

• Providing venues for live performances and showcases

• Donating musical equipment for touring, recording, and production

• Contributing band merchandise or concert tickets for fundraising and silent auctions

• Monetary gifts to support programs, operations, and artist services

• Company sponsorships and event partnerships, including opportunities to co-produce live concerts that support artist programs, engage local audiences, and align your brand with meaningful cultural and community initiatives

All contributions help expand access to professional resources, reduce barriers for artists, and support the development of sustainable music enterprises.
